Health and Social Care
Induction in Care Certificate Training
The course gives carers an induction into many of the topics they will need to perform successfully in the role. It is conducted across 4 days and can be taken as a refresher at any point where need. Click here for an outline of the course schedule and content.
Refresher in Care Certificate Training
These trainings are offered as and when needed to help boost staff's confidence and refresh their skills. It can include any of the trainings within the Induction in Care Certificate Training as listed here.
Working in Schools
Teaching Assistant Training
This training gives participants knowledge of how to support teachers and students within a school environment. It covers the skills needed to work effectively in the classroom and support the development of children and adolescents.
Cover Supervising Training
This training supports those looking to work as cover supervisors in schools with an insight into how they function and the expectations of their role. It also provides advice on supporting student learning and how to appropriately manage behaviour.
Exam Invigilation Training
This training outlines the qualities necessary for an exam invigilator and the various aspects of conducing oneself before, during and after an exam. It gives insight into the procedures for dealing with irregularities or emergencies and facilitating an environment where exams can be conducted safely and fairly.
